PR and Profile Raising
As Sharon Kean Associates and now as Kean Lanyon we have been building the profile of clients for 20 years.
Over this period we have delivered all sizes of campaign - from the smallest pub production to major West End shows, and from cross-media production, through new plays, major dramas, outdoor events, dance, music, festivals, and comedy to launching new buildings.
Our aim is to fit the campaign to the best interests of the client. So, in some cases this might mean an all out campaign to maximise tickets sales for a one-off project, in others to build a long term, sustainable profile. We work in close consultation with marketing departments to create a team, developing the optimum campaign for both income and profile.
On the basis that successful pr is all about who you know in the media, we know everyone important in the arts media - many from long before they were the people to know.
The result is an individual campaign created in collaboration with the client, aimed at meeting the needs of each client over both the long and short term.
Many of our clients stay with us for many years. This gives us the opportunity to control and monitor their profile, making it positive and sustainable for production after production, year after year, the longest being Cheek by Jowl, who has been a client for 20 years. Others include Improbable Theatre (8 years), The Lyric Hammersmith (6 years), Australia Council (4 years), English Touring Theatre (8 years), Method and Madness(5 years), Bill Kenwright (12 years), Maly Drama Theatre (10 years), Offshore Productions (10 years).
Building launches include The Lowry, West Yorkshire Playhouse and The Lighthouse, Poole
